This Flores Jungle trek was opened in 2021 by Indonesian Tourist Guide Association based in Ruteng including our official tour tourist guides Yogi, Irwan, and Erlan who are also members the professional organization. We started to run the tour for our travelers in 2025 and in the same year there were two different groups who explored this jungle trek which is in the area of Ruteng Nature Park (32.245 hectares), as the biggest nature park in the East Nua Tenggara Province. The tour activity is focused much on walking in the jungle for half part of the trekking which is completely surrounded by lush green forest that sometimes the trek is washed by the rain or covered by the dense plantations and that is why we hire local guide to get involved in the tour besides our official tour guide. 

The main attraction you will experience during this approx. 4-6 hour trek is this jungle trek takes you to a deep primary rainforest home of a variety of trees and if you are lucky you can also spot orchids and mushrooms.

The main agenda of this full day trip is walking in the deep rainforest. Somehow, during this trekking, you will be rewarded with a cultural attraction from the village who live on the foot of the mountain whose life relies on agriculture and palm sap tapper. Therefore, during this trip you will be taken to this indigenous experience combined with stunning waterfall Cunca Rede at the end of the trekking.
