Flores Traveler’s official team consists of six people. Erlan is the CEO, and Avelino is the Tour Guide, Novi as accounting staff, Irwan as an admin, Tony and Mus as drivers. However, we have a strong working relationship with other tour guides who are members of the Indonesian Tour Guide Association. We collaborate with tour guides, local communities, tour agent from Bali and Europe as well as drivers and vendors who assist our tour activities.
Erlan is from Waerana, East Manggarai, Flores. He has worked for a big travel company in Indonesia as a tour leader. He has traveled to several provinces of Indonesia to host his customers. In the meantime, he’s back to his hometown, working with his local friends to start a tour company that aims to introduce his unique island many people as possible.
He enjoys going on adventures and introducing people the genuine life of people on his island, which he believes distinguishes him from others. The manner of life that draws the majority of his visitors to his island to share their expertise and experiences. His passion for tourism motivates him to take a risk and embark on a new adventure in his life, despite the fact that Covid remains a threat, but it is the best opportunity for him to experience what Flores has to offer.
Irwan is an admin of Flores Traveler. Despite working as freelance tour guide, he also works an admin for Flores Traveler who supplies information, tour itinerary, bookings, and social media posts. His guiding experience around Komodo and Flores help all customers to create the program that might meet their expectations during their trip.
This website’s photographs are all original. Avelino, the man behind the camera, is responsible for the uniqueness of the captures. Working as a hotel receptionist in one of the starred hotels in Labuan Bajo for a few years and handling cruise ship passengers throughout Komodo National Park has made him fall in love with tourism. He is presently collaborating with Irwan to develop videos on the YouTube channel called My Flores. His drive to master photography and now as a video editor allows him to have a variety of options when his services are required.
He was specifically recruited for photography and videography for the tour within the agreement of our visitors when Flores Traveler had their first guests for touring throughout Flores. Since then, our social media accounts (Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram) have been filled with amazing photos and videos.
Novi graduated from university in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara Province in 2021. She studied business management. Before university, she studied 3 years in tourism for her high school. After freshly graduated from university, Novi was so engaged to collaborate with Erlan to embark a new journey with Flores Traveler. She took care all the administrative things till this company was officially registered under the name of PT. Flores Travel Indo.
Mus is one of your drivers during your tour in Flores. He has been working as a driver since he was a teenager. He has been working for years as a truck driver and after covid, he joined Flores Traveler. He loves to learn and speaks English and travelers like his passion as he has great driving skill and at the same time he also loves to entertain his clients. If you you like to travel without a guide, he would be the one who we recommend.
Tony has been working as tourist driver for seven years now. He has excellent work rates as acknowledged by our clients who have traveled with us and Tony was their man behind the steering wheel. He is super calm and smile is his language to communicate with clients. Since he’s always accompanied by a tour guide, his main focus is just to drive. We are so happy to call him as Tony Stark because besides for driving, he is capable of repairing the car on pre-tour activities or during the tour. Since he is the man on the mission, we are good to go.
