Since this company was built in January 2023, we have actually been working a decade in the tourism sector as tour guides in Bali, Lombok, Komodo, and Flores. The journey we have been through made us feel it is important to bring with us the tourism that maximizes the beauty of our nature and the authenticity of our culture yet we are also responsible for the sustainability of those great creatures to be passed down to the next generations. Therefore, Flores Traveler’s tagline is Value Your Holiday in order that our customers are taken to places they love to cherish, they love to experience and they love to respect, it is all up to us to generate into a valuable holiday that becomes a more meaningful journey to both parties.
All our tours are designed for private tours in both Flores and Komodo National Park
The main concept of this tour company is community-based tourism that promotes the sustainability of the environment, workers, and local arts and culture. The activities involve in the community-based tourism, such as;
1. The company empowers the Indonesian Tourist Guide Association members to be a part of the tour components.
2. The company empowers the local guide during a village tour or trekking activities.
3. The company collaborates with the local arts and souvenir community to support all our tour activities.
4. Most of the travelers who come with our company are directed to buy the local products during their village tour to sustain their authenticity and preserve their culture and arts.
5. Our company shares 5% of their annual profit to villagers who are economically struggling and also to orphanages.
6. During the tour, we use refilled bottles and water gallons in the car to reduce plastic usages.
7. All of the staff of the company including the founders are provided with health insurance and retirement plans by following Indonesian Government program (BPJS Ketenegakerjaan and BPJS Kesehatan).
8. Our company is obliged to support the growth of our tourism by paying taxes monthly and reporting it annually.
