We spent one day with Irwan and driver, Tony on a day trip around Ruteng. Irwan took us on a 2 hour slow walk through a spider web rice field to meet farmers and learn about the culture. Irwan has a keen interest in botany, so we tried to identify the plants he didn’t know. After lunch we did the usual spiderweb overlook and Hobbit cave. We can highly recommend Irwan for a day trip or a longer trip in Nusa Tenggara.

We relied on them by contacting them via the Internet and whats app. Our tour started in a private car with driver and guide from Labuan Bajio to Wae Rebo Lodge where we stayed one night. We left the next morning for 10 minutes by car and another 10 by motorbike until we reached the start of the approximately 3 hour trek to the Warebo village. Exceptional guide and driver. For the nights you have to settle for 2 days in spartan accommodation and limited food but the experience is worth it. For the professionalism and attention received, I recommend you rely on this local agency.

If you are thinking of booking this trip please do not hesitate! You will no regret it in the slightest! The guys truly care about their home and the people in it. You can see the way they interact with the local children that they love where they live. They did everything possible to make sure this my trip was as amazing as possible and what I was looking for.I strongly encourage if you make this adventure:1) please buy items from the locals, unlike in Bali the fabric items are all painstakingly hand made and not mass produces.2) I brought candy for the local kids in Wae Rebo, but if possible bring a new soccer ball or volleyball. They love soccer and could use a new ball. Their current one has seen a lot of action and love.3) if you open your heart and mind, this trip will change your life

I had amazing experience with Flores Traveller! It was really a highlight of my travel all over Indonesia. First - going to Flores is really very special experience, as it is one of few remaining places in the world unspoiled by mass tourism. As for the organization - it was spectacular!! Starting from our first communication to organize the trip and till very end - everything was perfect. Irwan and Mus were always perfectly on time, positive, full of enthusiasm to show me best of Flores. We met a lot of locals and it was so real and genuine and non-touristic! I could not imagine it was possible. Irwan even invited me to his home and family when we were in his home town and it is very memorable. All four days vere full of activities from early morning to late evening. Also Irwan made amazing pictures with his camera and shared them afterwards. I highly recommend Flores tour with this company and it was my best and unforgettable experience in all Indonesia

While planning my trip to Indonesia I knew already I wanted to see more of Flores. At first I was looking for a shared tour as I was solo traveling. As there were no options available I decided to search for a private guide. Irwan was promptly responding to my request via WhatsApp and was very communicative and informative to every question I had. It was an easy decision for me to do my trip with Irwan as time and place were fitting perfectly and I instantly had the feeling Irwan is there to show me the island in its full beauty. For him it was important to make everything possible for me, and he took care of everything without me worrying about anything. The time I had on the island with it's nature was amazing, especially Kelimutu was so worth it. What I will always have in my memories are the welcoming people, the untouched nature and the best guide i could have wished for, his amazing family i was able to meet for a coffee and not forgetting to mention our amazing driver Mus! Thanks again, I will for sure come back one day!
