Itinerary

We have carefully planned out each day to give you the best possible experience. From exploring historic landmarks to tasting delicious local cuisine, each day is packed with adventure and excitement. Join us as we take you on a journey through some of the most fascinating destinations in the world.

This 4-day Flores journey begins with arrival in Ende and a scenic drive to Moni, stopping at Detusoko to enjoy sweeping rice-field views and local coffee before overnighting near Kelimutu. Day two features an early-morning trek to Mount Kelimutu to witness sunrise over its famous three-colored crater lakes, followed by visits to Wologai traditional village, Bung Karno’s exile house, Blue Stone Beach, and a relaxing soak at Mengeruda hot springs before overnight in Bajawa. On day three, the route to Ruteng includes cultural stops at Bena and Belaraghi traditional villages, a visit to the arak-producing town of Aimere, and lunch en route before dinner and overnight in Ruteng. The final day offers trekking through Ruteng’s scenic rice terraces, a visit to the iconic spider-web rice fields in Cancar, a tasting of local smoked pork se’i babi, and ends in Labuan Bajo, the gateway to Komodo National Park.

Day 1: Bali – Ende-Moni 

Your guide and driver will pick you up at Ende airport to start the trip to Moni. On the way to Moni, you will stop in Detusoko for the rice field view and enjoy the coffee from the local café. You will overnight in Moni, a last town before getting to the Kelimutu three cratered lakes. Dinner and overnight in Moni and 0vernight in Moni.

Day 2: Moni-Bajawa

Right at 4:00 am you will drive to the parking area where you will start to trek to the summit of Mount Kelimutu (1600 mbl)to see the spectacular view of 3 colored lakes of Kelimutu during sunrise. About 30 minutes wait up on the summit, you will watch for the sunrise right over the lake. After Kelimutu, you will be back to the hotel for a shower and breakfast. You will leave Moni for Bajawa with stops at Wologai traditional village and Bung Karno’s house, a place where he was exiled from 1934-1938. After that, you will make a stop at Blue Stone Beach and continue to Mengeruda Soa to soak in the hot spring and then check in at the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Bajawa-Ruteng

After breakfast at the hotel, you will start to drive to Ruteng and this morning you will first pay a visit to Bena traditional village located on the foot of  Mount. From Bena, you will continue on to drive to Belaraghi traditional village and then to Aimere, a small town where most of the people rely much on “arak” alcoholic drink as their main income. From Aimere, you will head to Siquarra Restaurant for lunch. From the restaurant, tour continues to Ruteng for dinner and overnight

Day 4: Ruteng-Labuan Bajo

Start the morning with a short drive to a spectacular lookout over a sea of rice terraces stretching across the valleys and up the slopes of the mountains that surround Ruteng at Golo Cador and then you will do trekking around the rice terraces to see the beautiful view of rice paddy on the outskirt or hustle bustle Ruteng City. Besides enjoying the view, here you have the opportunity to see by your own eyes the activities of the local people who go farming. After trekking, you will drive to Labuan Bajo with a stop in Cancar to visit spider web rice field, a cultural heritage of Manggarai to distribute land. From here, you will continue on to drive for 15 minutes to La Nusa  to taste an authentic delicious East Nusa Tenggara smoked pork se’i babi . From La Nusa, you will continue to Labuan Bajo, a main entrance to Komodo National Park. Dinner and overnight stay in Labuan Bajo.
