Ende
Located in the heart of the island down to the South coast, the city of Ende store what many people exited to visit. The city was the place where “Bung Karno”, the first president of Indonesia was exiled. This fact makes the city more interesting to visit for educational purpose because of the history that affected to the change of the whole nation. Besides history, Ende has one of the most reasons why travelers come to Flores, to see iconic Kelimutu Three Cratered Lakes located in near Moni where most visitors are overnight here before making their footprints to the peak of the volcano.
Mount Kelimutu (1600 mbl) is one of the famous national parks in Indonesia besides Komodo National park as its neighbor. There are three crated lakes on the peak of the mountain that make it a lifetime experience as visitor can easily access this area through Moni Village with a 30 minute walk from the parking lot.
